TODAY IS MY PRISON ANNIVERSARY - AND ANOTHER ONE TOO

Just now noticed the date. Thirty-six years ago today, March 22, 1969, was the beginning of 7 1/2 years of imprisonment for me. (You can read the book, for free, at www.outoftheironfurnace.blogspot.com)

There's another anniversary today too. Twenty-two years ago today, March 22, 1983, we opened the Good Shepherd Shelter, a 156-bed homeless shelter in Bakersfield, California. It is still going. Please say a prayer for them, and remember them when you want to volunteer or give.
